Our team of physical therapists delivers a dynamic spectrum of state-of-the-art treatment, driven primarily by manual therapy techniques and one-on-one care. We are the only Medicare Part A-certified outpatient facility in Rapid City and the only facility that is board-certified in orthopedic physical therapy, reflecting our commitment to a higher standard.

Geoffrey Bonar, RPT, OCS
Geoff graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1984 and is board certified in orthopedic physical therapy. Geoff founded ProMotion in 1994 and continues as practice manager. He continues patient care and specializes in manual treatment techniques. Other areas of specialty include foot problems and orthotic fabrication, job-site assessment and functional capacity evaluations.
Sonya Maas, RPT
Sonya graduated with a Master's in physical therapy from the University of Nebraska in 1997. She joined ProMotion Rehab that same year and has developed her physical skills for the treatment of spinal and joint problems. Her soft-spoken nature and touch with patients are hallmarks of her care.
Dawn Gower, CMT
Dawn is a 1996 graduate of the Jean's School of Massage and Technology in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and has more than 500 hours of training. She is licensed in Arkansas as a certified massage therapist. She has extensive experience in treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries, with a particular focus on motor vehicle injuries and fibromyalgia. She has had additional training in sports and myofascial massage. Dawn is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Myron Sorestad, RPT
Myron graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992 and holds a B.A. in psychology, as well as a B.S. in physical therapy. Myron joined ProMotion in 1997 and, as a senior PT, specializes in a manual approach to musculoskeletal injuries, particularly spinal problems and sacroiliac dysfunction. He has been instrumental in the development of post-operative spinal rehabilitation protocols that are accepted and utilized by all of the physicians at The Spine Center. Myron also specializes in functional capacity evaluations.
