Marius Maxwell, M.D., Ph.D. Marius Maxwell, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Maxwell is a neurosurgeon at the Spine Center at Rapid City. He received his medical degree from Cambridge University and a PhD in cancer biology from Oxford University. He completed his neurosurgical residency at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He has also completed post-graduate courses in Tumor Biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Maxwell has advanced training and experience in the treatment of spinal disorders.

Dr. Maxwell is licensed in South Dakota and Wyoming. He is board-eligible through the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Before joining the Spine Center, Dr. Maxwell was in private practice in Kentucky. He has also authored several publications in his field.
