Dr. Teuber is a neurosurgeon at The Spine Center at Rapid City. He received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and his neurosurgery residency with extensive training in spinal surgery and instrumentation at Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Teuber was Neurosurgery Chief Resident at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Teuber is licensed in South Dakota, Wyoming and Nebraska. He is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and is board-certified in neurological surgery. Dr. Teuber belongs to the South Dakota Medical Society, the Black Hills Medical Society, the International College of Surgeons, the Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves, the South Dakota State Medical Association and the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Teuber's civilian experience includes serving as an emergency medicine staff physician at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brookfield, Wisconsin; St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bed, Wisconsin; Manitowoc Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc, Wisconsin; and Memorial Hospital in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. He was also a neurosurgical consultant at New Medico Rehabilitation Center in Waterford, Wisconsin. Dr. Teuber also served as a flight instructor for helicopters, balloons and gliders. Dr. Teuber's military experience includes serving as an aviation officer of the U.S. Army, an engineer and aviator officer of the South Dakota National Guard, an aviation and medical officer of the Wisconsin National Guard, a flight surgeon, a Major Medical Officer for the U.S. Army Reserve, and a flight surgeon for the U.S. Army as a Major Medical Officer in Operation Desert Storm.
