After hours, calls are received by an answering service that can page our on-call physician as needed. In case of an emergency, call the nearest Emergency Room or dial 911. Financial Information The information in this section is designed to help you understand our financial guidelines. It contains details about payment, fees, insurance, workers' compensation, Medicare, Medicaid, Title 19, motorized vehicle accidents and personal injury claims. If you have any questions regarding this information, please call our patient accounts representative at (605) 341-2424. Fees Our fees reflect the level of care provided and are within the customary range for this area. Payment Payment for services is required on the date of service unless other arrangements have been made prior to the appointment. We accept cash, checks and credit cards. You are responsible for your entire medical bill regardless of your insurance coverage. We strongly encourage you to be aware of their guidelines for payment and make plans accordingly.

Your medical records are strictly confidential. We will not give information regarding your condition to your employer, friends or relatives without your permission. As required by law, we release medical information for workers' compensation, personal injury claims, assault, etc. Insurance/Coverage As a courtesy to you, we will file your insurance claims. If your insurance company sends us payment, a refund check will be sent to you. We participate with many different health insurance programs and follow guidelines set by these plans. The programs we participate in are listed at the bottom of this page. If you have more than one insurance company, please identify the name of the carrier on the New Patient Registration form. Details concerning your coverage, deductibles, co-payments, secondary insurance and other such information should be discussed with your insurance carrier. We will not become involved in disputes between you and your insurance company. Evidence of Insurance/Preauthorization Your insurance company or health care plan may require you to preauthorize your care. Failure to preauthorize could result in a reduction of payment by your insurance company or health care plan.
